This very unusual group is based upon members of Neil Jenkins' family and their friends. He is a very well known tenor who has sung all over the world with conductors like Britten, Marriner, Haitink, Bertini and Bernstein. He has performed in most of the leading opera houses to great critical acclaim. Neil Jenkins has brought all his expertise to the Chorale and has welded it into a formidable group that has a great expressive and dynamic range. It has broadcast, appeared on TV and always performs with love and vitality. This collection includes many of our best-loved anthems; they receive beautiful performances from the Chelmsford Cathedral Choir and the Jenkins Chorale. The contents range from Bach to Elgar and represent the best of many centuries of religious music.
