This reflective Lenten cantata by Christopher Tambling is scored for SATB choir with organ accompaniment, and with optional soprano and tenor solos. It incorporates three well-known congregational hymns, and provides some opportunities for a cappella singing by the choir.
Each of the choral movements may be used on its own, providing the choir with seven new anthems for the repertoire.
